Bringing fresh roasted coffee to the blue mountains.

Guy and Lea opened Fresh Espresso & Food Bar in Katoomba in 2002. Guy had worked in cafes in Sydney for many years where he developed a serious passion for coffee. He decided the best way to bring great coffee to the mountains was to roast in house and make the coffee with love.
We also wanted the cafe to serve simple fresh food prepared with quality ingredients and sought out local suppliers such as Hominy Bakery to provide us with fresh bread baked daily. In a short time Fresh cafe became a local institution winning awards and great reviews. In 2009 Fresh opened their second shop in Leura.

Our Leura shop has a more relaxed atmosphere with a spacious venue and warm welcome, serving the same quality food and coffee. We roast our beans, sell retail coffee beans, hold home barista classes and sell coffee equipment and paraphernalia.
