The mission of the Rainforest Alliance is to protect ecosystmes and the people and wildlife that depend on them by transforming land-use practices, business practices and consumer behaviour. Buying coffee with the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal of approval safeguards the rights and well being of workers, conserves natural resources, and protects wildlife and the environment

Fair Trade

Under the Fairtrade system, producers are paid a minimum price for their coffee, with producer cooperatives receiving an extra amount to further their communities’ development. If the market price rises over the Fairtrade minimum, the Fairtrade price also rises.

Providing a certification and labelling system so Fairtrade standards are met and that the benefits of Fairtrade get back to the farmer who produced the product
